Group bundle validation reports

The Bundle Validation page, allows you to run group validation reports for a consolidation period.

To access the Bundle Validation page, click Consolidation > Validation Reports > Bundle Validation.

Generate a bundle validation report

  1. From the Company list, select the company whose validation report you want to run.

  2. From the Validation Report drop-down list, select the validation report you want to run.

     Note:  The Validation reports available on this page include all active validation reports except those defined as Used by the status board (executed at BUNDLE level) on the ( Configuration > System Structures > Validation Rules > Define Reports page) which are available at the bundle level to end users only. For more information, see Create validation reports.

  3. In the Journal View field, the default is CONSO and if left unchanged the report is run on CONSO. You can enter another value such as EVENT, BUNDLE, MANUAL, etc. to use for the validation.

  4. Next, select how you want the validation rules displayed on the report:

    • Show all rules - if selected, the report will show all rules. Unselected, the report shows only rules in error.
    • Show details - if selected, the report will show the details of every rule. Unselected, it shows only the summary of the rules.

    • Show zeros - if selected, it show all rules, including the ones where every item has an amount of zero.

  5. In the File type field, select the output file type. Options include PDF, XLS, and XLSX.

  6. Click to generate the report. After the report is generated, a download link appears below for you to click and view it in the file type selected.
