Create journal views
The Define Views page allows you to create a journal view, a summation or grouping of several journal codes. Journal views are used in the reports to get information at different stages or levels in the consolidation process.
To access the Define Views page, click Configuration > System Structures > Journals > Define Views.
Create a journal view

Enter a Code and a Description for the new journal view.
Note: If you are modifying an existing journal code, you cannot change an existing code on this page.

Optionally, to create the journal view for generated events only, select Event Use Only.

to create the new journal view.

In the Available table, select the journal codes you want to include in the journal view. You can select all journal codes by selecting the checkbox on the header-line.

Click
to transfer your selection to the Selected table.
Remove journal codes from an existing journal view
Some journal views cannot be modified or removed because they are system journal views, which are generated by the system automatically. The following are the system journal views:

BUNDLE - Journal view that only includes the bundle amounts (journal code B001).

CONSO - Journal view that includes all journal codes. Moreover, each time a new journal code is created, this journal view is automatically updated.

EVENT- Journal view that includes all journal codes of type E.

MANUAL - Journal view that includes all journal codes of type M.

TECH - Journal view that includes all journal codes of type T.

Select the journal view from the list on the left.

In the Selected table, select the journal codes you want to exclude from the journal view and then, click
