Release notes describe the enhancements and bug fixes contained in new releases and maintenance releases for Prophix Cloud deployment only.

What’s new

Home icon added to side navigation

We added a Home icon to the side navigation. Clicking this icon redirects users to their home page (the content panel).

Confirmation required to delete a consolidation period

When deleting a consolidation period on the Define Periods page, users now have the option to make a backup of the period before deleting it.

  • On the pop-up window displayed, users can select Make backup of the period to create a backup before the selected period is deleted. Backup files are stored in a temporary folder.


    Users are able to retrieve backup files from the temporary folder and save them on them on their local drives using the Download File link page on the Backup/Restore Periods page. Refer to the Restore a period section of the Back up and restore periods article for more information.

  • For more information on deleting a consolidation period, refer to the Delete a consolidation period section of the Define a new consolidation period article.

Additional safeguard added to updating consolidation method

To avoid recalculating indirect percentages of the group by error, we added a warning to the Update consolidation method option on the Group Structure page. When a user selects the Update consolidation method option and clicks , the following warning is displayed to alert the user of the impact on data:

Duplicate validation rules, edit the code field, and identify rule type on the Define Rules page

We made the following enhancements to validation rules on the Define Rules page:

  • Provided the ability to edit the Code field.

  • Introduced a read-only “type” field that indicates the type of rule, either System or Custom.

  • Duplication of validation rules. Users can now use the new button to copy a rule, change some details, and save under a new name. For more information on duplicating a validation rule, refer to the Duplicate a validation rule section of the Define validation rules article.

Apply validation rules to specific company types

We added a new field, Selection Method (a filter for companies), on the Define Rules page to give users the ability to apply specific rules to particular company types. When combined with the ability to duplicate rules , this new feature enables user to quickly create and configure rules for specific company categories.

Set a default Point of View (POV) for new companies

A new option has been added to the Point of View Tree page, allowing users to set a specific Point of View as the default. This means that all newly added companies will automatically be added under the default POV.

Default settings on the Consolidation Statusboard

We have introduced default settings on the Consolidation Statusboard page to reduce the risk of omission errors when selecting companies and enhance overall efficiency. Beginning with this release, the following are selected by default on this page:

  • Include dimensions.

  • All companies in the table.

Default values for a new company added to the group

New companies added to the group on the Companies page now get the following default settings:

  • Currency code: Group currency

  • Number of decimals: Number of decimals used in the period

  • Consolidated: Selected for the Current period

  • Consolidation method: Global

  • Group %: 100%

  • Minority %: 0%

  • Group control %:100%

  • Number of financial rights = 100.000

  • Number of voting rights = 100.000

In addition to these default settings, the Reference and Current period columns are now clearly labeled for easy identification.

Choosing a company and clicking to execute bundle validation resulted in errors.

In addition, bundle validation appeared to have been performed (marked ) for a newly added company even though it had not been performed for the company.

The absence of sorting functionality on the Interface Table made it challenging for users to search through a large number of records.

After restoring the backup file from version 3.1 to version 2023.1.2, it was discovered that the adjustment sums for both credit and debit were found to be incorrect. The error was traced back to amounts being posted twice for each account in version 2023.1.2.

Nov 161272 Reports > Standard Reports > Consolidation Flows During the consolidation process, company employing the “Not Consolidated” method experienced an issue where the correct flow in the liaison account (at the holding company) was not displayed. Rather than F06 (exit flow), the process generated the interrogation mark flow.

Nov 161492 Configuration > System Structures > Bundles > Offline Templates Consolidator was unable to download existing offline templates The Download button was not responsive.

Two issues were identified:

  • The Difference amount was blank even when the reference period was provided.

  • In instances where the Difference amount was displayed, it was not accurately calculated.

Nov 162667, 162247 Consolidation > Consolidation > Intercompany Matching When using the Merge Debit/Credit option to generate a report, the report failed to display the Difference amount for the pair of companies.
Nov 163693, 163721 Consolidation >Events> Generate Events Multiple occurrences of a single event were observed after processing, with the same event being repeated four times.

Known issues

In the Content Panel’s dashboards, when a row is set to “Confirmed” the Advanced Input does not switch to read only mode.

Transfers > Data > Export Data When exporting the dimension data via OLAP to Excel, users may encounter a situation where certain data blocks appear multiple times on the sheet. An upcoming release will address the issue.
Configuration > Group Management > Companies The tree structure is missing on the Point of View report. An upcoming release will address the issue.
Reports > Standard Reports

Standard Excel-format reports for companies no longer support column filtering.
