Upload consolidation bundles

The Upload Bundles page lets you upload Excel consolidation bundles into the application.

Bundles are Excel workbooks generated on the Download Bundles page, completed offline by subsidiary users, and returned for import into the application.

A valid bundle contains required sheets and named cells that identify the customer code, company code, and target period, which tell the application what data to import and where to save it. Bundles missing these elements cannot be processed.

To access this page, go to Data Entry > Bundle Transfers > Upload Bundles tab.

Fields

• File — displays the name of the uploaded file.

• Types of data — the data types available to upload from the bundle.

Upload Excel consolidation bundles

1. In the File field, click and navigate to the bundle file on your computer. The selected file name appears.

2. Under Types of Data, select the data types you want to upload. To select all, click the option.

3. Click and monitor the page for system messages about the upload status.

4. If the upload is successful, click the link to open the validation page, where you can check the uploaded data before processing it into the consolidation period.

5. Select the period you want to upload and click Check Data to start validation. A report of any validation errors is generated — click the link to download it.

6. Once validation is complete, click to import the data into the consolidation period. This button becomes active only after validation has been run.
