Change journal codes

On the Change Journal Codes page, administrators have the ability to modify the existing journal codes by replacing them with new ones.

To access the Change Journal Codes page, click Configuration > System Structures > Journals > Change Journal Codes

Change a journal code

1. Click . The Select a Journal pop-up displays the list of journal codes and descriptions.

   By default the list contains all journals but you can always filter the list by using the wildcards on the code and description fields.

   

2. Select the journal that has the code you want to change.

3. Click . The selected journal code and its details are displayed on a row on the Change Journal Codes page.

     Note:   If you need to delete any journal code from the list, select the journal code and click .

4. In the New Code field, select the existing code and type in a new code to replace it.

5. Click .
