Change dimension codes

The Change Dimension Codes page allows you to modify existing dimension codes and replace them with new ones. This feature provides a convenient and efficient way to update dimension codes within your application.

To access the Change Dimension Codes page, click Configuration > Analytical Dimensions > Change Dimension Codes.

Change a dimension code

1. Click . The Select a DimensionDetail pop-up window displays the list of existing analytical dimensions criteria.

   By default the list contains all the dimension codes but you can always filter the list by using the wildcards on the code and description fields.

   

2. Select the dimensions criteria that has the code you want to change.

3. Click . The selected code and its details are displayed on a row on the Change Dimensions Codes page.

     Note:   If you need to delete any dimension code from the list, select the dimension code and click .

4. In the New Code field, select the existing code and type in a new code to replace it.

5. Click .
