Dimension and company relationships

The Dimensions/Companies Relationship page allows you to link specific dimension criteria to particular companies, effectively restricting those companies to using only a limited number of dimension criteria. Configuring these relationships allows you to control access and ensure that companies use the appropriate and relevant dimension criteria for their operations.

To access the Dimensions / Companies Relationship page, click Configuration > Analytical Dimensions > Dimensions/Companies Relationship.

The left-side panel lists all the existing dimensions /companies relationships.

The right-side panel displays the parameters of any relationship selected in the left-side panel.

Create a dimension company relationship

1. Click .

2. Enter the Code. Max 25 alphanumeric characters.

3. Enter a Name to describe the relationship. Max 25 alphanumeric characters.

4. In the Dimensions drop-down list, choose the dimension that you want to link to one company or a group of companies.

5. Click . The dimension tree associated with the selected dimension is displayed in the Details tab.

6. In the Details tab, from the dimension tree, select the criteria you want to link to the company or companies.

7. Click the Companies tab.

8. On the Available table, select the companies you want to link to the dimensions and click to move them to the Selected table.
